How do I make a reservation?

• You can reserve online at NebraskaBoatingCompany.com (48 hours in advance) or call/text (402) 306-8309 for same-day availability.

Do We Pay For Fuel?

• For Jet Ski and Pontoon Boat rentals, the first tank of gas is included in the price of the reservation.

Are Life Vests and All Safety Equipment Included?

• Yes. Please wear proper attire. (Spandex Shorts or the Like for Jet Skis, no Bikini Bottoms on Jet Skis)

Do you launch the Jet Skis, or do I tow them?

• We launch and recover all Jet Skis. Customers are not allowed to tow watercraft. Watercraft will be in the water prior to customers arrival.

How many people can ride on a Jet Ski?

• Each Jet Ski can hold a maximum of 3 people (Pending Weight of Each Rider). Hop-on/hop-off rider swaps are allowed only at the dock.

What should I do before I ride?

• Sign the Waiver: All riders and operators must sign the liability waiver.
• Bring Valid ID: ID must match the name on the waiver.
• Complete Training: Operators must finish online and in-person safety training.
• Arrive Early: Arrive at least 15 minutes before your reservation for check-in, vest fitting, and safety review.
• Review Rules: Understand all safety and conduct rules before heading out.

 

What is the age requirement to operate a Jet Ski?

• Operators must be at least 21 years old . Passengers ages 8–17 must ride with a parent or guardian who is at least 25 years old .

Do I need A Boaters License?

• At Branched Oak & Fremont Lakes, YES. At Carter Lake & Lake Manawa, NO. Different States, Different Laws.

What is your cancellation policy?

• Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance for free. Cancellations within 24 hours incur a $50 fee. Weather-related cancellations receive a full refund or reschedule option.

Do you allow alcohol or drugs?

• No. We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy for alcohol and drugs.

Do you allow walk-up rentals?

• Yes, on select days and times. Check our event calendar .

Can I switch riders during my rental?

• Yes, but only at the dock . Swapping riders on the water is not allowed for safety reasons.

What should I wear?

• Proper swimwear is required. Shorts-style bottoms are mandatory for safety—no bikini bottoms.

What are the main safety rules I need to follow?

 

• No racing or wake jumping.
• No cutting in front of other vessels.
• Always respect No Wake Zones .
• No diving from the Jet Ski.
• Engine must be off when boarding from the water.
• All riders must wear life jackets at all times.
• No alcohol or drugs—zero tolerance.
• No reckless operation or “hot-dogging.”
• Stay clear of docks, piers, and swimmers (minimum 50 feet).

 

Emergency Quick Guide

 

• Engine Failure: Call (402) 306-8309 or signal with orange flag/whistle.
• Person Overboard: Circle back slowly, approach from downwind, engine off before boarding..
• Severe Weather: Return to dock immediately; if unable, anchor and wait for help.
• Serious Emergency: Call 911 immediately.
